CounselRisk is a specialized AI governance initiative of QbitBrains LLC.
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through the CounselRisk website.
1. 14-Day Evaluation Guarantee
Every CounselRisk digital product purchase is covered by a 14-day evaluation guarantee. If, after reviewing the materials, you determine they do not fit your firm’s needs, contact us at legal@counselrisk.com within 14 days of the purchase date and we will issue a full refund. You do not need to give a reason.
This guarantee exists so your firm can evaluate the materials properly — including internal review by leadership, operations, or counsel — before the purchase becomes final.
2. How to Request a Refund
Send your request to legal@counselrisk.com with enough information for us to identify the transaction:
- purchaser name
- email address used for the purchase
- date of purchase
- product purchased
- transaction or order reference, if available
A brief note on why the materials didn’t fit is appreciated and helps us improve, but is not required.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds typically appear within 5–10 business days of approval.
4. After the 14-Day Window
After the 14-day evaluation period, sales are final. CounselRisk may still, in its sole discretion, review requests involving:
- a duplicate purchase of the same product made by the same customer in error
- a verified technical failure that prevents delivery or access to the purchased product, where CounselRisk is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable period
- an incorrect charge or billing error
- another exceptional circumstance where CounselRisk determines that a refund is appropriate
Any such review is handled case-by-case. A discretionary refund in one case does not create an obligation to provide refunds in future cases.
5. Delivery and Access Issues
If you experience a problem receiving or accessing a purchased product, please contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. In many cases, delivery issues can be resolved quickly by re-sending access details, confirming the correct email address, restoring access, or providing reasonable technical support.
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe there has been an error with your purchase, please contact CounselRisk first so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
CounselRisk is operated by QbitBrains LLC, and charges may appear on your bank statement as QBIT BRAINS LLC.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve an access or billing issue with CounselRisk may delay resolution.
7. Changes to This Refund Policy
CounselRisk may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
